What Crafted ERP is

Crafted ERP is a beverage-industry ERP built natively on Oracle NetSuite. It does not sit alongside an ERP and integrate inward; it extends NetSuite itself with production, compliance, and distribution functionality for beverage alcohol, which puts financials and operations in one system. The vendor reports more than 1,000 brands on the platform across six continents.

The company behind it

Development sits with Doozy Solutions, a NetSuite implementation and product development firm headquartered in Golden, Colorado, with a second office in Sydney, Australia. Beverage functionality has been built on NetSuite there since 2017. The team of more than 40 people includes former head brewers, distillers, and winemakers, and that shows in how the product handles category-specific work. Oracle NetSuite named Doozy Solutions its Micro-Vertical Solution Provider of the Year for 2023.

Core functionality

Five editions ship: Brewery, Distillery, Winery, Ready-to-Drink, and Standard, each adapting workflows to its beverage category. Coverage spans production and recipe management, bottling and packaging, supply planning, inventory, sales, and TTB compliance reporting. Running inside NetSuite adds the platform's full financial suite on top: general ledger, payables and receivables, multi-entity consolidation, and native reporting and analytics. A mobile application carries production and warehouse tasks to handheld devices.

Who buys it, and how it is sold

The buyer profile is a producer scaling past entry-level tools. Craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, cideries, and meaderies form the core; ready-to-drink, kombucha, coffee, and natural soda makers land on the Standard edition. In practice these are companies that have outgrown a QuickBooks-paired point solution and now need consolidated financials, multi-entity structures, or distributor-grade supply chain discipline. Doozy serves the US market from Colorado and the Asia-Pacific region from Sydney. Deployment is cloud-only on the NetSuite platform, which every customer licenses as part of the package, and no prices are published: quotes rest on the NetSuite core cost, user count, and selected modules, explicitly not on production volume, plus a one-time implementation fee. The multi-year total is the figure worth arguing about, and our ERP TCO calculator frames that comparison.

Our take

Buy Crafted ERP if accounting has become the bottleneck in your beverage business: several legal entities, real distributor volume, an auditor who wants one ledger. It is a complete ERP with native financials, which separates it cleanly from the craft-tier tools that hand accounting off to QuickBooks or Xero, and the five-edition structure plus the brewer-and-winemaker background of the implementation team are real advantages in this vertical. A single-site brewery with a straightforward P&L has no business here. That company would pay NetSuite-level licensing and absorb a mid-market implementation for capability it has no volume to use. One commitment deserves to be said out loud: choosing Crafted means choosing NetSuite as the company-wide system of record, and walking away from one later means walking away from both.

Frequently asked questions

Does Crafted ERP require a NetSuite license, and what drives the price?

Yes. The product is built natively on Oracle NetSuite, so a NetSuite platform subscription is part of every deployment. Doozy Solutions does not publish dollar amounts; quotes are prepared per project based on the NetSuite core cost, the number of users, and the optional modules selected, explicitly not on production volume, plus a one-time implementation fee. Evaluate the combined NetSuite plus Crafted figure over several years rather than a standalone application fee.

What editions are available?

Five: Brewery, Distillery, Winery, Ready-to-Drink, and Standard. Each adapts production, compliance, and costing workflows to its beverage category, and the Standard edition covers producers such as kombucha, coffee, and natural soda makers that do not fit the alcohol-specific ones.

Is accounting included, or does it still run through QuickBooks?

Included. Because Crafted runs inside NetSuite, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, multi-entity consolidation, and revenue reporting live in the same system as production and inventory. That is the structural difference from lighter craft beverage tools, which hand accounting off to QuickBooks or Xero and leave the operator to reconcile the two. For a growing producer, that reconciliation work simply stops existing.
